On Wednesday, November 20 I had the opportunity to present about Joyride at 1 Million Cups and it was a blast!

If you’re not familiar, 1 Million Cups is a weekly event held at the Springfield Art Museum for local entrepreneurs to meet and present their startups to the Springfield community. The name is based on the concept that business ideas are shared over 1 million cups of coffee.

I’ve been going to 1 Million Cups for the past couple of months and I’ve gotten to see a couple of my friends present, so I was really excited to present myself. It is such a supportive, inspiring community and I really love getting to learn about awesome local businesses each week!

You can watch the presentation below:

After the presentation, we spent 20 minutes doing a Q&A, clarifying points from my presentation, answering questions, and getting feedback from the audience. I was happy to get really positive feedback and some great suggestions to help move my business forward in the future.

And since my business is mobile, I actually brought it to the art museum with me and opened it up after the presentation so everyone could tour the bus and do a little shopping! I love getting to show off pictures of the bus but nothing compares to getting to see it person!

Awesome presentation from Springfield’s newest mobile gift shop, Joyride Midwest. Thank you for spreading joy to our community this morning! 😉✨
